Compare for the transaction you actually need
If a recipient accepts only native USDC on Base, a USDT balance on TRON is not a direct substitute. An asset conversion and a network change may both be involved. Identify each operation and its cost before deciding.
Do not compare the network fee for one chain with a service's all-in charge on another. Use the same amount, the same measurement time and clearly separated cost categories.
A dollar target is not a deposit guarantee
A token balance is not the same product as an insured bank deposit. Direct redemption has eligibility and operational conditions, and a secondary-market price can differ from a dollar.
Read the applicable issuer terms rather than assuming that any holder can redeem any amount immediately. No conclusion about reserve quality, solvency or future price follows from the comparison above.
